Video Helps Fresno Police Arrest Fashion Fair Stabbing Suspect – GV Wire
Fresno police said Monday early morning that officers arrested a recognized gang member suspected of stabbing a juvenile at Fashion Truthful browsing mall on Saturday.
In accordance to a news release, Prophet Hillard, 27, was booked into Fresno County Jail on felony assault fees and his bail was established at $75,000. He presently is on probation for felony assault and, as of Monday afternoon, remained in jail.
The 5-foot-5, 130-pound Hillard has a heritage of violence like assault on a police officer, assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, and criminal gun possession, police reported.

Officers who were already at the mall responded to a struggle among Hillard and the two juveniles. Soon after viewing surveillance online video supplied by the mall’s safety crew, the officers discovered the attacker as Hillard and later on identified him hiding in a restroom.

Officers said that in addition to arresting Hillard at about 6:40 p.m. Saturday, the officers found evidence related to the stabbing in the restroom.
Just one of the juveniles had a stab wound to his armpit and the other was struck in the back of the head with an unfamiliar object. Each had been handled at Group Regional Medical Centre.
