The Worldwide Colored Gemstone Affiliation (ICA) has appointed Douglas K. Hucker, to provide as its upcoming chief government officer (CEO), replacing Gary Roskin who has led the affiliation for the previous 7 decades.
In his new role, Hucker will operate to extend ICA’s membership, bolster the organisation’s affect and methods, and uphold its purpose in public and marketplace affairs as an advocate for its customers and the coloucred gemstone market at large.
Prior to becoming a member of the ICA, Hucker served as CEO of the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) around two a long time. His involvement in the marketplace contains participation on the boards of many associations, which includes the AGTA, the American Gem Modern society, the Jewellers Vigilance Committee, and the Earth Jewelry Confederation (CIBJO).
He has also been a supporter of the Jewellers’ Stability Alliance and the Women’s Jewelry Affiliation.
