Police are hunting for at least four adult males who robbed a jewelry retail outlet in a busy Mitchells Basic shopping mall on Saturday afternoon.
A feminine employee at a nearby winkel advised the Daily Voice the guys entered the American Swiss retailer in Westgate Shopping mall near to 3pm, before leaving the retail outlet a handful of minutes later.
“I’m not positive what occurred or if they had guns but I read from men and women who work there that the fellas threatened them but even they could not say with what (weapon).
“They instructed the workers to glance down and absent from them or they would get harm.
“I do not know how these guys could do it with all these individuals all-around but at least no one was damage.”
She reported the guys left the shopping mall and the retail outlet was shut whilst police investigated the scene.
A 62-yr-previous resident told the Everyday Voice they were being browsing when they saw the men jogging in the direction of the center exit of the shopping mall.
On January 8, the similar retailer was robbed by a few armed males who also escaped.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg verified a circumstance of company robbery has been opened by Mitchells Plain law enforcement even though no arrests have been produced.
“The suspects entered the shop and threatened workers just before fleeing the scene with jewellery and watches.”
